Frequency-invariant beamforming method for circular sensor arrays mounted on the baffle surface
Main Article Content
Abstract
To address the problem that the existing frequency-invariant (FI) beamforming method does not consider the effect of platform scattering, an FI beamforming method for circular sensor arrays mounted on multilayer cylindrical baffle surface is investigated, and a model for the multilayer dielectric cylinder scattering acoustic field is built in this study. The influence laws of incident frequencies, baffle material, and interface thickness on the accuracy of performance are determined through simulations and analyzed theoretically. The simulation results show that a reasonable selection of materials and thickness is conducive to the robustness of the FI beamforming method in the applicable frequency range.
