Abstract

This article takes a look at the challenge of numerically approximating non-Newtonian fluid flow with a Unconfined surface. The movement of newly mixed concrete is specifically targeted by this solution. The behaviour of industrial mixes frequently resembles that of non-Newtonian fluids, which means that they display a yield stress that must be overcome before the cf. mixture can flow. The discretization of the problem through the use of the finite element method and the mathematical formulation of the problem are receiving the majority of the focus and attention. The numerical method that has been explained is implemented into the process of solving multiple issues.
