Abstract

Aesthetic literacy is an important part of humanistic literacy and has a significant impact on the overall development of individuals. Aesthetic literacy is an individual's aesthetic quality accumulated on the basis of aesthetic experience, mainly composed of three elements: aesthetic knowledge, aesthetic ability and aesthetic awareness. Factors affecting aesthetic literacy are explored and analysed in terms of the implementation of aesthetic policy implementation, family aesthetic concept , cultural dimensions, programme design, teachers staff, and school resources. By analysing the factors affecting students' aesthetic literacy, we aim to promote the reform of aesthetic education in higher education and provide certain references to enhance students' aesthetic and humanistic literacy.
